Ms Wong: "What does Singapore import?"

Joan: "VEGETABLES!"

Ms Wong: -bursts out into uncontrollable laughing fits- YES, we import kang kong, rice and vegetables. NO! We import technology which was already invented!

Weiying: -hears a song during training in the gym on the radio- Hey, do you know who sang this song?

Yun Rui: Oh! Michelle Branch!

Joan: I know what's her middle name!

Weiying & Yun Rui: What?

Joan: TREE!

I think being ultra lame runs in the family.

Oh look at the time. It's 1.35. My body is telling me to sleep but strangely enough, my mind seems to be dragging my body to go blog.

Ok, my bones and muscles and quadriceps and hamstring and every other muscle in my body is ACHING TO THE CORE. Fencing really did not help after I went straight from training. My brother made me do footwork while he was fencing and beating up the other students, of which, all were very puny as compared to him, so guess what, he pwnzorxzxz (lol) all the kids.

OH, AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH, MY FENCING BUDDY!

So when my beginner's class actually started, it got worse. Our coach made us do SO MUCH FOOTWORK. Because my new friend and I were both noobcakes, he made us do SO SO SO SO SO MUCH FOOTWORK while he watched the others fence. OW. My back and my legs now feel like jelly -

STIFFENED JELLY.

Haha, I just realised gossiping with Symone, Zara and Kim is super uber duper fun. We landed up gossiping from 2.58pm this afternoon all the way to 3.36pm according to my watch, of which I had to leave and change for training. So, let's see.. all in all, that's 38 minutes!

Meh, for cooking today, we made Lor Mai Kai, Konnyaku Jelly and Chrysanthemum tea. Oh but by the way, CHRYSANTHEMUM TEA IS ABSOLUTELY FOOLPROOF. Lol, it actually did not need to be taught in class. How difficult is it to chuck the chrysanthemum inside the jug, put hot water and a tablespoon of sugar! IT'S LIKE DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. The Lor Mai Kai was fun to make with Kana as my cooking partner. And frying the rice was so awesome. It smelled so freaking good and the aroma just jumps and hops about and lazes around gracefully in your nose. However, in the end, our Lor Mai Kai was far too salty and very very peppery. (KANA. Haha, jkjk)

Today, I was a kind soul enough to lend Keerthana one of my containers to her for cooking. But then, I didn't realise that if I didn't have two containers, my food would become KONNYAMAIKAI. Which reminds me of that time Amelia thought Lor Mai Kai was pudding. Anyway, my Lor Mai Kai did end up as KONNYAMAIKAI. KAYALVILLI was sitting next to me at assembly and was busy smelling the sweet scent of my jelly that while she was chucking it about, the Lor Mai Kai cup opened up a small gap and some of the yellow colouring from my jelly flowed out and stained the Lor Mai Kai. When I came home to eat the Lor Mai Kai, some of the grains of rice tasted very ODDLY like peach. And some of the grains were even coloured yellow.

AWESOME RIGHT?

Yesterday was one of the awesomest days yet.

14 January 2009

It started off with History. Our group had to do a skit on the legend of Badang and the Singapore Stone. Zong Qi got a video of it, which is currently undergoing sending. So, in my next post, when I DO get the video, I promise I shall post it! :D Because it is so hilarious and awesome, I shall post it for the world to see!

Cos Badang is handsome
Badang is strong
He's really cute
and his hair is long

Badang is handsome
full of surprise
He's really cute
and his hair is nice.

YAY BADANG! HE THREW A CHAIR ACROSS THE 207 CLASSROOM!

And then came ICT, which turned out to be, yes, the most absolutely awesome block of the day! Knowing that ICT is so slack, I would like to take this opportunity to show you some of our assignments for the day.

Prem!

Louisa, Me and Prem with Nandhini being over-effusive! HAHA Ms Mathew -.-

Oh look! I'm headless!

OH NO. LOUISA HAS TAKEN MY HEAD AWAY!

And I call this one, "Crying out in despair in the light" by Joan and Nandhini :D

AND FOR THE HIGHLIGHT OF TODAY:
PREMIKHA ALL SQUEEZED UP!

So I guess that I needed some change. I wanted to move on from the nostalgia of my old blog, move on from always looking back at things in retrospect, and now, instead, creating and shaping a whole new direction towards life.

I feel that blogging is a way I can express myself and therefore I promise that in my free time, I will post more actively, and post much more meaningful posts as opposed to the thoughts of the old. Yes, I am in fact a very sentimental person, and I treasure all things that mattered to me as a child or was a fragment of my memories from the past. I feel that it is important to take life at your own pace and not rush through and miss all the happy moments, which you may come to realise in retrospect, that it may be too late to enjoy them. And thus, I wish to keep a record of the happy moments in life too important to miss. This makes life so much more meaningful and so much happier.

So there you have it. My rationale on why I wish to post more frequently and give my blog a whole new outlook!
